Renovation

This full house renovation began with a sketch for a simple kitchen remodel. The final product includes updates to the entire property. The existing home was gutted and rebuilt with improved insulation, new windows, and new electrical and mechanical systems. The interior layout was reorganized to improve flow between spaces, the kitchen and living areas were reoriented, a new screened porch was built off the living room, and a custom wine room was added to the newly finished basement. On the exterior, the building was reclad with nickel gap wood siding, the front walkway area was reconfigured to better define the entrance, the rooflines were simplified, and standing seam metal replaced the original asphalt roof.
